THE LONG

I am an open and evolving writer, dedicated to practical and creative communication.

I understand the bigger picture – the message beyond the hand-picked words, the audience calculating your worth, the results – and how these elements work together. As a training coordinator, I have sharpened “target and deliver” skills. By creating relevant, accurate, and clear educational material, I successfully communicate complex information to hundreds of people.

Accomplishing this involves researching target audiences, writing training manuals, creating handouts and surveys, formatting, following up, writing, writing, writing… Along with managing training programs, I have contributed to countless articles, white papers, web pages, newsletters, business plans, annual and quarterly reports, grant proposals, contracts, etc.

I balance professional writing with no-pressure nonsense writing to ensure my creative fitness. Sadly, perfectionism pecks at the fiery spirit that incites me to write, but with patience and diligence, I’m molding this into an asset rather than a mental disorder.
